A regulated lending platform rebuilt from a five-year-old monolith into a modular, audit-ready system.
The problem
Loan origination took eleven days and every compliance report was assembled by hand across three disconnected systems.
What we did
We re-platformed onto a typed Next.js and NestJS stack, modelled the underwriting rules as a versioned decision engine, and wired an immutable audit log into every state change.
The result
Origination dropped to under two days, audit packs generate themselves, and the platform passed its first SOC 2 Type II with zero material findings.
The first staging URL landed in week one and never went dark. Eighteen months on, the same engineer still answers when we call — that continuity is the whole reason we renewed.
